Роль информации и знаний становится все более заметной, поэтому знания выступают одним из основных ресурсов, необходимых организации для поддержания ее конкурентоспособности. Изменения, произошедшие во внутренней и внешней среде, сделали традиционную организационную форму неспособной удовлетворить потребности организационного развития, поэтому стала появляться новая организационная форма – организация, основанная на знаниях. Исходя из характеристики знаний в данной статье автором анализируется различное понимание зарубежными учеными коннотации организаций, основанных на знаниях, а также представлены общие характеристики таких организаций.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>In the era of knowledge competition among organizations grows, while fast changing and more complicated external environment initiate new problems of survival and development. The role of information and knowledge becomes more significant, therefore knowledge acts as a major resource necessary for providing company competitiveness. Changes that took place in internal and external environment made traditional organizational form incapable to meet the requirements of organizational development, thus a new organizational form came into being, i.e. organization based on knowledge.
