The Role of Finance Literacy in Ensuring Sustainable Development of the Country

Abstract
The subject of the present article is study of conceptual specificities of finance literacy and its impact on finance behavior of the population, sustainable development of the economic system. The article provides a review of finance education evolution. The level of finance literacy was estimated with regard to data of the Bank of Russia, NAFI Agency and investigations of the Resource Centre of volunteers of finance education in the Bryansk region. The research showed that finance literacy impacts consumption smoothing. First of all it takes place due to savings and their diversification. In view of state and region improving of finance literacy can allow us to see on finance market rational investors assessing all risks and diversifying investment.
