Abstract
The problem of ambivalence of inflation expectations is considered as one of essential indicators of macro-economic stability and efficiency of monetary-credit policy. In conditions of unpredictability of inflation processes and limited finance literacy of the population this topic becomes extremely important for the development of monitoring tools and regulative measures. The research studies the link between level of finance literacy and shaping inflation expectations within the frames of login-regression. It was found out that expectations concerning price dynamics depend on respondents’ age and education level and it was also revealed that population finance literacy can influence customer decisions and behavior of market entities.
