The Essence and Characteristics of Industry 4.0 in Sphere of Higher Education Development Strategy

Abstract
The development of management on the basis of Industry 4.0 (4th industrial revolution) is stipulated by the necessity of digital transformation of social and technological systems in conditions of digital technology and global competition progress. This vector was set by Edicts of the President of the Russian Federation that fixed targets of digital development for the long-range perspective. Technologies of Industry 4.0 concepts cause changes in the system of higher education. These changes deal not only with new methods of education but also with innovation approaches to management. The article provides proposals on upgrading the system of higher education management on the basis of tools advanced by Industry 4.0 concepts.
